Create a New Document
1. Press (Ctrl + N) to create a new document. Select Pixels from the Units drop-down menu, enter 550px in the width box and 610px in the height box then click on the Advanced button. Select RGB, Screen (72ppi) and make sure that the Align New Objects to Pixel Grid box is unchecked before you click OK.
2. The first thing to do is to pick the Ellipse Tool (L). Use this tool to create two shapes (465px by 465px) and (234px by 234px).
3. Select the two newly created circles, open the Align Palette (Window > Align) and click on the Horizontal Align Center button. Then click on the Vertical Align Center button.
4. While having the circles selected, open the Pathfinder Palette (Window > Pathfinder) and click on the Exclude button.
Next, fill the result with R=0, G=44, B=0.
5. Pick the Pencil Tool (N) and draw a curved line as shown below.
6. Keep working with the Pencil Tool (N). Draw other curved lines as you see in the image below.
7. Now we'll create three grasses with different colors. Use the Pen Tool (P) to draw a curved line and fill it with None and then add a 2px stroke (apply linear gradient within stroke). Next, make two copies of the newly created grass and replace the existing color of them with a new linear gradient.
